Wedding Magic is a simple database type program that will help you plan your wedding, budget and upcoming events. Although everything worked accordingly there is nothing particularly special about this program.
Contacts can easily be imported or exported from a CSV or TXT file. Guest information includes full name, formal title, nickname, email and phone number. You cannot separate guests into a primary or secondary list.
The suggested budget feature is handy, just by placing your estimated budget into the system Wedding Magic will section your money into estimated expenses. Additionally, you can factor expenses such as taxes and tips into your overall budget. The budget section is a little complicated and works closely with the vendors list. You cannot enter an actual amount until you specify which vendor you are using in the Wedding Professionals section and you can not access your vendor information directly from the budget screen.
Wedding Magic does have an extensive checklist, organized according to the person the tasks are typically assigned to like the best man, bride or groom. You can add, delete or edit tasks, but there is no way to see a full list of things to–do on one page.
The seating section uses a tree like structure which allow you to drag and drop guest into their respective tables. Printable reports include guest management, gift management, RSVPs, table assignments, budget worksheets, vendor lists and task lists.
Wedding Magic includes a built–in help section that usually answered our questions. Additionally, they provide telephone and email support.
