My Wedding Hero Reviewer's Comments

My Wedding Hero was the only web based wedding planning software we reviewed. Web based software is usually easier to use, and this program is no exception. The interface is friendly, clearly labeled and self explanatory. They use the web to their advantage incorporating features like additional users and a messaging system; however, My Wedding Hero lacks a considerable amount of features typically associated with wedding planning software.

Unlike many wedding planning programs My Wedding Hero doesn’t include a budget section, an area for gift tracking or a vendor management section. The “planning” area is interesting and easy to use, but it is in essence, several lists associated with planning a wedding, and lacks the essential equipment really needed to assist in wedding planning. The flowers planner consists of lists of flowers available for particular seasons and the photography planner is a list of photographs usually taken by the photographer, like bride and groom, whole wedding party, bride and groom with bride’s parents, bride and groom with groom’s parents and more.

My Wedding Hero has the potential to be a great piece of wedding planning software, but even though it looks pretty it’s just not as functional as most wedding planning programs available on the market.
